Those usually only come after a head to head loss right?
The Longhorns got screwed. No not by the BCS, but by the Big 12, who has a stupid tie-breaker rule. When you watch the build-up to these games and then the games themselves, don't fall into the trap that ESPN or Fox will be feeding us about how Florida and Oklahoma are definatly the best two teams right now. Remember these were the two organizations that were feeding the fire about why the BCS has messed up again when Oklahoma got the nod to play in the Big 12 Annual Bloodbath, I mean Championship Game. ESPN and Fox have an agenda. ESPN just signed a long term deal with the BCS and Fox is currently airing BCS games. In a post 9/11 America, the media has a huge influence on anything that is not decided in black and white, such as the Presidential election. Pardon the pun.
With that said, I will predict a winner between Florida/Oklahoma. I think Oklahoma is the best team between the two. But in what is a totally illogical sport, we have a full month between the end of the regular season and your championship game. This has been the part of the year where "Big Game Bob" has lost his nickname. Oklahoma is 0-4 in their last four BCS games. Hmmm. Don't think this trend gets bucked this season. Sure it would be nice for OU to win, finish the year with the same amount of losses as Texas, with Texas winning the head to head meeting, but it ain't happening. Florida 38 Oklahoma 24. Mark it down, you heard it here first.
